How to cook an omelet?

Omeletes are one of the most popular and simple dishes.

Ingredients (for 4 persons): 
6 whole eggs
20 g of Parmesan cheese (grated)

Crack eggs by dropping yolk and egg white in a bowl and beat them lightly with a fork, just enough to break them. Then mix the two components.
Now you can add salt, pepper and spices to taste. To make a simple omelet you just also add just a nice grated “parmigiano” amalgamating the cheese to the egg.

How to cook it?
For the cooking of an omelet you can proceed in two ways: one that provides traditional frying and one more alternative and lightweight that consists in baking.

First method:
To make a fried omelet, heat seed oil or olive oil in a frying pan and as soon as it is hot, add the mixture of eggs by pouring it directly into the pan.

When you see that the egg mixture begins to congeal, lift it slightly on the sides with a wooden scoop and let slip part of the egg mixture, which is located on the surface on the bottom.
Thus, let cook the omelet until you will not see it fully clotted on the underside (the one in contact with the pan) at this point let it slide gently on a plate and now slip it into the pan, in order to allow it cooking on the other side.
Continue to cook it also on this side, and when it will be all firmed transfer it in a dish (where you can previously lay a kitchen paper, in this way the excess oil will be absorbed).
Serve it and enjoy your meal!

Second method:
The omelet baked in the oven is very easy to prepare.
In addition, it is lighter than the one cooked in a pan with oil.
So what do you have to do?
Use a pastry brush to butter up your baking tin. This way you can distribute the ingredients without the risk that the omelet would stick to recipient.
Bake it for about 20 minutes at 180°.

How to store an omelet?
It can only be maintained when the ingredients that you’ve used are fresh. In this case you can store it in the refrigerator in a covered container for 1/2 days.
